Easy Spanish Reader is a beginning reader for the Spanish language. All of the stories are entirely in Spanish and only the vocabulary words and summary exercises are in English.
The book begins with easy stories using a limited vocabulary and becomes more difficult as more words are introduced. When new Spanish words are used, they are listed at the beginning of the story along with their English meanings. Additional words are contained in an appendix at the back of the book.
Each story has from five to ten questions at the end for the reader to check their comprehension. Although the problems are in Spanish, the instructions are in English. This makes solving the problems easier.
The short stories in the book were entertaining and were not difficult to follow even with a limited grasp of Spanish. This book is ideal for those wanting to improve their ability to read Spanish.
